Dear Readers,

I won’t lie. Since my last update, I haven’t done anything with music beyond routine practice. Over the last couple months, I’ve been kept busy with my day job and other artistic projects (not music related, so you know). As a result, I’ve landed in a place where I feel like I need to post some kind of update but with very little to say.

So, I’ll say this: the holidays are fast approaching.

I’m looking forward to a few extra days off and wrapping up the projects I’ve been working on. Once I finish those, I can get back to making music. And I am excited to make some new music! I have lots of new samples, a few ideas, and a couple plugins that I haven’t fully utilized. (For the curious, the new plugins are The Stack from Spitfire Audio and Pigments from Arturia.) But, I’ll tell you now, I don’t really have a set schedule for this music. Honestly, I’m still just trying to get my last release heard which has been a struggle.

It’s a tough market when you don’t go out of your way to do promotions or have any social media presence. I can admit that it’s largely my own fault. If you don’t engage in marketing, how can you expect anyone to find your work these days?

Anyway, once I get started on the new project, I’ll update here again and let you know how it’s going.
